I added some stuff to my podcast downloader. First I added some error handling that makes podcasts fail individually. The concrete reason for adding this at this point of time is Channel 9 being down ;P When a dead or corrupt podcast is encountered, it is considered to be not scanned and a message is displayed. Furthermore I added support for DailySID. Ok, this site is quite special since it links to a flash player to play sid files. I added some parsing to download the actual sid to save bandwidth.
For those of you that don't know, what a .sid file is: This is the format used to playback music from the classic Commodore 64. Back in the days music programs delivered their own playback, so a .sid contains the machine code along with the data and a sid player is a partial emulator. To playback you may use SidPlay or a standard player like Foobar or Winamp with a corresponding plugin. I use foobar with Sid Decoder.

Added new song. I started experimenting with free VSTs. I should have done that a long time ago - there are really cool instruments available for free.

I spotted this .NET library for creating sample data objects on Polymorphic Podcast. In a nutshell NBuilder les you create test data in a very easy fashion using fluent interfaces. This looks a lot like code using linq extension methods or RhinoMocks testing code.
I wish I had seen the project half a year ago, we did something similar for persistence tests on our own project and could have saved such a lot of work and made much better unit tests.
Hopefully I'll have the chance to use it in some future project.
